Grand Valley State University, founded in 1960, is the fourth largest university in the state of Michigan, posting a total enrollment in the Fall of 2023 of 22,269 students. Grand Valley State reported a record breaking number of incoming freshman for the Fall 2023 school year. 5,290 incoming freshman were welcomed to campus at the beginning of the semester, representing a 25% increase in the freshman starting class. The University has experienced 3% enrollment growth from last year.
